Because of the generous donation from our supporters, we have been able to enhance every sports program and team at Winchester High School over the past 30 years. In that time, we've added much-needed additional safety equipment and end zone cameras for the football team. When the gymnastic team couldn’t compete in the Middlesex League unless it had a new gymnastic floor and the wrestling team desperately needed new mats, WSF stepped in and funded both teams.

Over the past decade, the baseball, track and lacrosse teams were in need of essential equipment to compete, WSF released funds to purchase all the necessary equipment. At one point, the high school was considering cutting the JV girls’ and boys’ hockey team and the diving team. WIth a concerted effort and support from WFS, we were able to save all the teams. When there was an opportunity to create a girls’ lacrosse team, a sailing team, a girl’s ice hockey team, and most recently a volleyball team, we donated funds and financed them all. Not only did this allow more students to participate in sports, they have prospered and have had successful seasons over the years.
