SPORTS FOUNDATION
WINCHESTER
The Winchester Sports Foundation was organized in 1989 by a group of Winchester parents and sports enthusiasts as a result of severe budget cuts to the Winchester High School’s athletic budget. That year the athletic budget faced a $60,000 deficit and the high school considered instituting a $35 per student “sports and transportation fee.” Today, appropriate funding of the high school athletic programs continues to be a significant challenge.
About
The Foundation raises money from the WSF Annual Charity Golf Tournament, an annual campaign, and through individual and corporate donations. Our mission remains as important today as it was in 1989. We hope you will consider supporting the student-athletes at Winchester High School by playing in our golf tournament or becoming a donor or corporate sponsor.
We are a 501(c)(3) organization and all your contributions are tax-deductible.
